Prophecy Platinum to Commence Drilling at Wellgreen Project

Prophecy Platinum will begin the drill program at the company’s Wellgreen PGE-Ni-Cu project on the third week of January, 2012. The company has intended to conduct underground drilling of around 9,000 m, focusing on the infill regions of the present Wellgreen inferred resource, and possible extension of the resource towards south for filling the pit region.

The company began the underground development and rehabilitation during November, 2011 and will continue till 2012. It has got the permits for drilling and has moved the crews to prepare locations, wherein drilling has to be performed from the historic workings at the Wellgreen property. Underground drill program is expected to continue throughout the year, enclosing the strike of 1 km at the Wellgreen East zone.

Additionally, Prophecy has inked an agreement to conduct surface drilling for at least 10,000 m during the spring season of 2012. It will provide 2 to 4 surface drills to the surface campaign that will be conducted in parallel with the underground drilling. The surface drill program of the company will enclose the West zone, planned pit region, and the Wellgreen intrusion’s northern parts that returned more than 241 g/t of Platinum+Palladium+Gold over 0.5 m as high-grade channel samples. Prophecy will provide these surface drills for continuous exploration outside the resource strike edges to examine open regions at depth and towards the eastern part.

Prophecy in partnership with Wardrop Engineering has planned this surface and underground drilling to improve the 289 Mt of inferred resource of Wellgreen to the indicated and measured categories of the NI 43-101 compliant. The company has intended to give optimal variography through drill holes for outlining the mineralization.
