2000 CS Drilling rigs from Webster Schaeff & Co

The Webster Schaeff 2000SS comprises a tracked base unit with integral electro-hydraulic power and a slewing power boom. The boom can be fitted with a rotary or hydraulic percussion drill assembly, a rotary cutting head assembly or an impact hammer.

The unit was developed for sinking shafts from 6m diameter upward and can be converted into a roadheader with detachable bucket, at the shaft bottom in only 4 hours.

The unit shown has been supplied to a major contractor to use on the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transport) project in Texas USA.
