The Model 5012 HP Versi-Dredge is ideal for dredging in canals, lakes, marinas, rivers, and sand mines. Like all Versi-Dredge systems the Starwheel Drive system allows the dredge to be completely self-propelled. The HP (High Pressure) pump on the 5012 HP is a GIW 8" x 10" cast iron, hi-chrome sand pump that can pump sand to a maximum distance of between 3,500'-4,000' depending on specific gravity of the material.
The 5012 HP can be used in conjunction with a GPS system to restore a lake or reservoir or it can be used in a dedicated sand mining application. The HP pump is known for its longevity in abrasive materials and its ability to pump heavier materials over long distances.
