Augen Gold Defines Additional SGH Gold Anomalies at North Shore Trend

Augen Gold has outlined the further two SGH gold anomalies beside the northwest outcrop of its recent North Shore Trend. The location of the trend is in the centre of the South Swayze property of Augen.

J. David Mason, ceo and president of the company, has commented that the basis for the new SGH gold interpretation map is on the lake sediment sample survey above the north of the Jerome area and the surroundings of the Opeepeesway Lake and confirms two excellent gold SGH anomalies, which is along the strike of the numerous fine gold intersections along the North Shore Trend. The encouraging potential of this trend widens by at least 3 km and is presently being drill-tested.

The company has drilled 8,240 m, totaling 34 holes at the North Shore Area. This area is located instantly in the east to the northeast side of the lake sediment survey region.

The organic SGH geochemistry identifies compounds based on hydrocarbon. ALS Laboratory Group has verified the presence of gold in the drill core samples by fire assay AAS on 30 gm charges. The samples that have reported over 10 g/t gold were re-tested by the fire assay-gravimetric technique. Augen has executed the drilling at a dip of 45° and consequently true thickness would be lessened to 75%.
