Adventure Gold, RT Minerals Update on Deep Drilling at Meunier-144 Property

Adventure Gold and RT Minerals (RTM) have updated on the deep drilling campaign conducted at the Meunier-144 property, which is located adjacent to the west border of Lake Shore Gold's (LSG) Timmins Mine property, Ontario.

The company is presently drilling the primary deep hole and is evaluating a deep cut offering at the outcrop target at a vertical depth of 2,400 m roughly. A shallower wedge cut sequence is enabled to receive additional facts about the level and shape of key geological formations and prospective mineralization. During August 2010, LSG drilled the first deep hole at the Timmins Mine property and the current core length of the hole is approximately 2,600 m.

The target of this hole is on the prospective zones on strike and down plunge to the mineralization occurring at the Timmins Mine deposit, in which LSG has formerly encountered up to 61.4 g/t gold over 15.0 m and 13.6 g/t gold over 50.8 m. LSG has also reported the additional results of up to 75.1 g/t gold over 18.6 m at the Thunder Creek project and Rusk zone. The Timmins deposit includes a sedimentary or volcanic or ultramafic contact zone, in a folded series plunging approximately 54° to the west-northwest direction near the property.

The ore body at Timmins Mine property is continuously perpendicular as that can be outlined to down-plunge for around 1,500 m from the surface, and stays exposed at depth. Extensive fold complexities and formations are currently visible at the Timmins Mine’s deep portions. The structure’s gross geometry stays constant from surface to a perpendicular depth of 1,300 m and it is obvious that the persistence of this structure and geometry is towards the depth and on the Meunier-144 property.
