Allied Nevada Gold has reported latest drilling results from the current exploration program at its Hycroft mine near Winnemucca in Nevada.
The Company has executed a north-south oriented infill drilling program in the Vortex zone. It has drilled previously on an east-west drill prototype, to analyze the grade and stability of mineralization. Allied Nevada has verified through drilling that the mineralization is tabular and dispersed in nature. It has intersected 1.4 g/t gold and 36.8 g/t silver over 190 meters.
Additionally, the Company has cut 1.0 g/t gold and 52.5 g/t silver over 142 meters in hole H11-3430 in the Vortex and Albert zones. Allied Nevada has undergone further drilling in this area. It has encountered 0.9 g/t gold and 23.0 g/t silver over 117 meters in Hole H11-3765.
The company has confirmed the presence of significant amount of resource potential at Hycroft. This latest step-out drilling has continued to support the extension of Vortex mineralization. The mineralization in Hycroft remains open to the west, north, south, and at depth. The company also discovered a number of drill targets outside the present resource area that has to be analyzed.
Allied Nevada geologists have collected the drill samples on-site and estimated and will ship to ALS Chemex's assaying laboratories in Nevada.
