Gold Resource announces the production conversion and beginning of processing the La Arista underground ore. Gold Resource is a low-cost gold producer in the southern state of Oaxaca, Mexico.
The location of ore processing changes from the open pit ore of Aguila Project to the Arista underground ore with flotation optimization for creating three separate concentrates like Gold or Copper, Lead or Silver and Zinc concentrate.
Gold Resource has great source of high-grade polymetallic deposit from La Arista and makes significant production changes. This year will be a transformational year for the company, as it aims for high-grade ore, better production levels and low cost production.
The Aguila open pit deposit made Gold Resource as a low cost gold manufacturer, by supplying needed waste rocks for the tailings dams and facilitated the company to accomplish profit-making production in the shortest time. The left over stock of El Aguila open pit ore will be processed in the mill's agitated leach circuit after the optimized process of Arista underground ore.
High-grade Arista deposit is identified as the principal deposit of Gold Resource. Three drill rigs aims for added ounces as the Arista deposit remains open in strike and depth .
