Willow Creek Enterprises has started drilling at its Hercules Gold & Silver Property that is situated in the Walker Lane Mineral Belt in Nevada.
Terry Fields, President of the company, has stated that Hercules is the flagship property and Willow Creek is excited to extend the resources of about 583,000 gold-equivalent ounces, which will be delineated by this first drilling program. The company’s ground team has worked hard for laying the road to move the drill rig. The exploration team and the geologists of the company have scheduled to drill about 300 ft per day at the earliest.
The company has designed the exploration campaign, which includes angle drill holes and reverse circulation- rotary (RC) and core drilling. This drilling program along with infill drilling will try to authenticate and increase the indicated resources.
Willow Creek will contain around 12 to 14 drill holes and about 3,000+ ft of the planned initial drilling program. The depth and foot spacing between holes of this drilling varies between 200-500 ft and 50-100 ft respectively. The company will focus this drilling on the West Cliff and Hercules area and North to the ABC zones and maintain flexibility while identifying new targets.
