Centurion Minerals Secures Diamond Rigs to Conduct Drilling at Badak Property

Centurion Minerals has got two diamond drill rigs to examine several priority targets, which was discovered by the Company at its epithermal gold and porphyry gold- copper prospects in Indonesia.

The company has presently mobilized the first diamond drill rig and will be employed to complete at least 2,000 m drilling program at its Badak property. The geologists of the company have discovered an immense, gold-bearing diatreme breccia and an epithermal outcrop, which has been outlined for a strike length of 400 m and a 1.5 km x 1 km intrusive complex that shows typical features of the porphyry-style mineralization, quartz-sulfide vein stockwork and hydrothermal alteration . The rig can drill up to 200 m depth.

Centurion has received a second drill rig and is concluding site logistics and drill pads to begin the phase I drilling at the Banda Raya property, where the company formerly reported the geochemical and geological survey results that define a 5 km radius gold-copper prospect complex. Porphyry gold-copper mineralization, gold + base metal-bearing quartz veins and epithermal gold mineralization are the types of deposit in this complex.
