Claim Post Resources is a mineral exploration firm in Canada. At present, it has a 100% interest in the mineral privileges for approximately 63 patented claims and 1145 staked claim units, located in Timmins, Ontario.
Claim Post Resources has pronounced that Osisko Mining has concluded the exploration deal with Claim Post for the Mountjoy property, located near Timmins in Ontario. The companies had inked the original agreement for the 110 claim unit areas in August, 2009.
Osisko completed a 3200 sample Mobil Metal Ion (MMI) geochem sampling campaign in 2010 and a Radiometric and Magnetic aerial survey in 2011 over the regions of Godfrey and Mountjoy Townships. The target of the company was a huge gold porphyry system, which could not be discovered from the airborne investigation and consequently Osisko decided in the interest of the company to conclude the Mountjoy Township contract.
The CEO and President of the company, has commented that the Claim Post has not obtained the copies of the airborne survey and Osisko is elated with the MMI survey results. The independent geochem consultant of the company has observed two main anomalous gold trends running through the Mountjoy Township. Claim Post is focusing to search in the Timmins camp for a main new gold trend hence the results from MMI survey are very positive.
