The webinar, presented by Todd Houlahan and Marcus Lake of Olympus NDT’s International Mining Group, will share with webinar attendees three case studies that will demonstrate some of these savings by providing real, quantified examples from existing Handheld XRF (HH-XRF) users.
In the mining and mineral exploration industries, HH-XRF is being used on Soil, Till, Sediment, Drill Cuttings, Blast Holes, Underground Stopes and Faces, and Diamond Core. It is used on almost every sample type and for every commodity type around the world. HH-XRF can save money on assay costs by reducing the number of samples sent for lab assaying. HH-XRF provides real-time, in-the-field analysis, shortening evaluations and increasing explorations.
HH-XRF instruments provide quantitative data during first pass regional soil, sediment, till, and trenching stages. HH-XRF allows adaptation of sampling and mapping programs in real-time to maximize exploration budgets. HH-XRF aids the decision-making process at the underground face in many mines around the world on a daily basis.
