Powertrans latest haulage system is its model, T1244 underground Mine Development Truck. This versatile truck is initially intended for use in material removal and infrastructure development during an underground mine’s development phase.
The T1244 is an economical alternative to underground articulated dump trucks, offering higher haul speeds (both up inclines and on the surface), reduced up-front capital cost and lower operating costs.
The Powertruck is built with only one thing in mind: working around the clock to haul material around and out of underground mines. The low entry height ROPS/ FOPS cab incorporates controls and engine monitoring for the Powertruck, a hydraulic pump and oil reservoir, and tipping controls. A single driver controls all operations from the safety of the truck cab.
