AM Resources Makes Progress in Austrian Lithium Exploration

AM Resources Corporation declared the identification of fresh spodumene-bearing pegmatites across its 100 %-owned Sankt Rad, East Wolf, and Legend lithium projects in Austria. AM Resources also discloses the procurement of the Stall project in Austria.

Sankt Rad Project

The Sankt Rad project's initial exploratory effort consisted of visiting 14 places with pegmatite bodies, including in situ outcrops and boulders, spanning an area of around 23.5 km². Numerous locations were investigated, including those next to highways, places with road cuts, hiking routes, and animal pathways.

The exploration team found various pegmatite types, including simple, evolved, and albite-spodumene pegmatites, indicating a varied geological makeup in the region. The pegmatites that included spodumene showed signs of mineralogical zoning, with green-colored spodumene predominating; however, beige specimens were also found. More research is necessary since the albite-spodumene pegmatites contain minerals like spodumene.

During the Sankt Rad project, the Corporation gathered 229 pegmatite grab samples and six pegmatite grab samples containing spodumene. These samples will be submitted for geochemical and assay analysis.

East Wolf and Legend Projects

For the East Wolf and Legend projects, preliminary exploration activities covered an area of around 15 km² each. Similarities in the geological structures of the two qualities have been observed. During the exploration program, stones of different sizes and mostly in situ pegmatite bodies were found.

These bodies are composed of quartz, feldspar, mica, biotite, tourmaline, garnet, and, in certain instances, spodumene, which are housed in mica schist and amphibolite.

A 3 m long and 3 m wide in situ pegmatite body was found embedded in a micaceous schist containing spodumene. This discovery is unique, as there were no previously known mineral occurrences in the area that the Austrian government had recorded.

Near the contact zone with the host rock, which is mainly micaceous schist, sporadic occurrences of amphibolite were seen in the sporadic spodumene pegmatites.

The data collected suggests that the East Wolf and Legend areas have great potential for mineral development, especially for pegmatites that contain spodumene. These areas need more research to realize their exploration potential fully.

The Corporation also gathered 32 grab samples of pegmatite from the East Wolf project, four samples of pegmatite-bearing spodumene, and 51 samples of pegmatite from the Legend project. These samples will be submitted for geochemical and assay examination.

Stall Project

AM Resources purchased the Stall property, which consists of 19 claims, through staking in November 2023.

Although AM Resources has yet to undertake a work program on this site due to prolonged research efforts, past drilling has revealed the existence of pegmatite masses containing spodumene. The Stall claims contain pegmatites bearing spodumene, a historical tungsten showing, and a past artisanal tungsten subterranean access.

Due to its geological relationship, tungsten occurrences next to lithium-bearing pegmatites are particularly significant. In Europe, tungsten is frequently found adjacent to pegmatite bodies and is a good predictor of the mineralization of underlying geological formations.

As a result, the discovery of tungsten in the Stall region strengthens the prospectivity of the area for harboring lithium deposits, which is corroborated by previous drilling. The Stall project's potential is further increased by tungsten, a crucial metal in the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.

This summer, the Corporation hopes to launch its first exploration campaign in this new and exciting location.
