Lydian International has begun the proposed 30,000 meter drill program at its Amulsar gold project. In 2006, geologists from Lydian had identified Amulsar gold project as having a high-sulfidation style.

The company intersects 1.1 g/t gold over 32.4 Mt as Indicated Category resources and 0.9 g/t gold over 48.3 Mt as Inferred Category resources.

The first exploration holes have been located to aim the surface soil and rock chip anomalies, which is situated around 1 kilometer south west of the existing resource casing at Amulsar. The company has discovered gold anomalism region that covers around 9 km2 through former scout drilling and surface geochemical sampling. The present resource area contains around one third of this region. It means that the major additional resource potential is to be analyzed away but in the instant locality. The main objective of this drilling campaign is to examine the potential regions and to find out recent resource ounces.

Also, this drilling will intend to target high-grade gold mineralization additionally from inside and regions of resource expansion next to the Amulsar’s recent resource shell and to transform current Inferred resource ounces to Indicated category.
