BonTerra Resources is presently awaiting the assays from five deep drill holes at the Eastern Extension gold project. The location of the Eastern Extension property is 170km northeast of Val d'Or, Quebec.
The company drilled one of these holes to extend the famous high grade gold zones as exposed in BA-10-01 that intersected 17.06 g/t over 13.50 metres. It is expected that similar gold assays can be cut in this recent drill hole.
The company is expanding the high grade gold zones intersected in BA-10-08 that resulted in 14.84 g/t over 7.00 metres. So far, BonTerra has drilled 32 drill holes totaling almost 7,000 metres at the property.
BonTerra has planned to drill three holes below the lake starting the peninsula with the aim of expanding the peninsula zone to the western side and has intersected 8.01 g/t over 14.00 metres. BonTerra is toiling towards the preparation of the NI 43-101 compliant resource estimation for the property.
BonTerra is deepening the high grade gold and looking for the assays. It is working with Geologica to extend a resource evaluation.
