BonTerra Resources Receives Infill Sampling Results from Eastern Extension Property

BonTerra Resources has reported the infill sampling results from the Eastern Extension property. This program included the sampling of drill holes’ preferred sections and veins that were not sampled.

The company has identified broad gold intercepts during this program. Currently, it has focused on all the veins because of discovery of gold in all types of veins. It is waiting for further results of infill sampling and newly drilled holes.

During the infill sampling program, the company has cut 18.95 g/t gold over 0.71 m and 0.98 g/t gold over 22.05 m in the hole BA-10-01, 21.24 g/t gold over 7.73 m and 7.54 g/t gold over 22.00 m in the hole BA-10-02, 15.81 g/t gold over 6.00 m and 3.72 g/t gold over 26.00 m in the hole BA-10-03, 16.75 g/t gold over 6.00 m and 6.24 g/t gold over 17.50 m in the hole BA-10-08, 2.81 g/t gold over 12.70 m and 0.82 g/t gold over 75.50 m in the hole BA-11-06.

The Director of BonTerra has stated that it is good that the infill sampling program has paid off with extended widths for some of its major gold intercepts early in the drill program.

Smoky quartz veins with sulphide mineralization are the target for the drill program at the property. Sulphides normally have mineralized zones of 1-10% that may extend to 30%. Alteration is normally carbonate, chlorite, sericite, silica and tourmaline. Alteration types, sulphides, tourmaline, and quartz veins combined together are suitable for the mineralized gold in the region. Sphalerite in the quartz veins seem to be connected with the high-grade gold zones at the property.
