Portage Resources Inks LOI for Wukakuy Properties

Portage Resources has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Albroock Gold Peru and Airon Peru to buy the Wukakuy properties.

Portage has fixed a date on or before 31st August, 2011 to acquire the Wukakuy properties completely. The allotted time frame for Portage will allow the company to take the essential time to carry out due diligence and research on this target, which is to be acquired.

The location of the Wukakuy properties is in the renowned mining zone of Peru. Also, these properties are near to other key mining companies, including Glencorp. Glencorp is a main mining firm in Australia and has acquired the Mina Cecilia mine.

The CEO and President of the company, has stated that Portage is presently studying the NI 43-101 report of the property, other geological studies and the astonishing prospective of this acquisition. The potential reserves may contain silver in multi-million ounces.
