Lithium Exploration Group Inc. today outlined the advantages of the Ultrasonic Generator Technology currently in development for waste water treatment and oil upgrading applications.
- Each unit is estimated to have the ability to treat up to 1,000 m3 (tons) of waste water from oil and gas production daily. The reaction is mechanically induced, therefore the process will be extremely efficient. The existing products on the market use natural gas combustion as the heating source.
- The technology has mobile capabilities, allowing it to be applied at remote locations, which in turn reduces hauling costs for crude oil, "frac water," and produced water.
- The ability to upgrade crude oil or treat waste water depending on the user's needs is a huge advantage over competing products on the market.
"We feel that by executing on efforts that we have already made to enter the disposal market, and by applying this groundbreaking technology, we should be able to not only compete with Secure, Tervita, and Newalta, but we should be able to outperform them. Quite simply, we will be able to provide a better product at a lower cost to consumers," commented CEO Alex Walsh.
