Watch this webinar titled, Mineralogic 3D: High Resolution Automated Mineralogy in 3D on-demand now.

About this webinar

3D mineralogy represents a disruptive technological advance, providing a much reduced time to actionable data. In this webinar, Eddy Hill, PhD describes the What, How, and Benefits of mineral classification and measurement in 3D.

Key learning objectives:

  • Understanding the value of 3D in automated mineralogy
  • How to shorten the path to actionable data
  • How to do automated quantitative mineralogy (AQM) with no sample prep

About the event speaker

Eddy completed a PhD in Experimental Petrology at the University of Bristol, which he followed with a move to UT to work on developing technologies and processes, for in-situ resource utilisation, with a view to building and supplying a Lunar Base.

In time, he returned to more traditional research topics at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, Arizona, before moving to industry to work as a Consultant. In 2012, he joined ZEISS with a remit to develop automated analytical solutions for Geoscientists and the Mining Industry.
