Reduce Exposure to Dust
The PDM3700 monitor is engineered to provide timely, high-quality personal dust exposure data. It tracks shift-average respirable coal dust exposure as it nears regulatory limits, helping protect miners' health. The monitor equips both workers and site management with essential data for dust monitoring, helping reduce exposure. It serves as the first line of defense against long-term health risks.
Real-Time Measurement
The PDM3700 provides three real-time measurements: current mass concentration, cumulative mass concentration, and percent of limit. It also allows two user-initiated secondary measurements without interrupting primary sampling.
This battery-operated monitor continuously samples air from the breathing zone, filters out non-respirable particles, and measures the mass of collected dust on an exchangeable filter.
Lower Per-Sample Cost
Exposure results are automatically calculated, removing the need for filter transport and manual handling associated with traditional gravimetric methods. This automation significantly reduces per-sample costs and enables continuous data availability.
Designed for the Mine Environment
Proven underground capable, through the success of the PDM3600 monitor, the PDM3700 personal dust monitor also offers accurate, continuous, personal respirable dust exposure information. Capable of satisfying the typical mine environment, the durable, belt-mounted case is made of static-dissipating housing.
