The Thermo Scientific™ ADR1500 real-time, ambient Dust Monitor is designed for easy transport and installation, enabling continuous monitoring.
Product Overview
The Thermo Scientific™ ADR1500 Area Dust Monitor offers straightforward transport and installation for real-time, ambient monitoring.
Utilizing light-scattering photometer (nephelometer) technology similar to that used in the Thermo Scientific™ pDR series, the Thermo Scientific Model ADR1500 Dust Monitor measures the intensity of light scattered by airborne particles in the sensing chamber. This intensity is linearly proportional to particle concentration.
This optical configuration provides optimal sensitivity to particles, allowing continuous measurement of airborne particulate concentrations, including total particulate and size-specific cut-points from PM10 down to PM1.
The ADR1500 includes a temperature and relative humidity (RH) sensor paired with an internal heater to reduce positive bias in high humidity environments.
The flow control system is volumetric and maintained using digital feedback from onboard sensors: barometric pressure, temperature, and calibrated differential pressure across a precision orifice. These true volumetric flow principles ensure accurate sample volumes and consistent particle cut-point measurements.
