The Thermo Scientific™ 5030iQ SHARP (Synchronized Hybrid Ambient Real-time Particulate) Monitor combines the rapid response of light-scattering nephelometry with the proven accuracy of beta attenuation technology, delivering continuous PM10 and PM2.5 measurements.
The Thermo Scientific™ 5030iQ SHARP Monitor system is a real-time particulate measurement system that combines beta attenuation with a light-scattering design for exceptional accuracy and usability.
Delivering precise, real-time results, the 5030iQ SHARP provides high-resolution mass concentration data in one-minute intervals. Its highly sensitive nephelometer readings are continuously validated against beta attenuation measurements for reliable calibration.
Designed for long-term, unattended operation, the instrument uses continuous, non-stepwise sampling to automatically advance the particulate-laden filter, minimizing particle loss. It actively monitors sampling conditions and applies heat only when necessary, reducing moisture interference while preserving volatile aerosols for accurate measurement.
