Great Quest Announces Initiation of Comprehensive Geological Program at Tilemsi Phosphate Property

Great Quest Fertilizer Ltd is pleased to announce that a comprehensive geological program has been initiated at the Tilemsi phosphate property. The intent of the program is to advance the Inferred resource to that of a Measured and Indicated resource. A bulk sample will be obtained, additional drilling will be undertaken and detailed topographical survey for mine planning will be completed.

In spite of the conflict in Mali in 2012, the Company has been able to recover large quantities of material from its property in Bourem, North Mali. This material has been used for agronomic testing (see news releases dated July 11, 2016, November 4, 2015, March 26, 2014 and November 21, 2013). Additionally during this period there have been visits on the site by both management and company geologists. This new program, however, will be the first comprehensive geological effort in last four years. This has been made possible as a result of strengthened political and business relationships in Northern Mali, and the receipt of adequate financing.

Crews will be mobilized in October as the rainy season concludes. The program duration will be approximately six weeks. It is anticipated that that Company will be in a position to report both mineral grades and revised resource calculations by year end.

Commenting, Jed Richardson CEO, "The completion of this work is a necessary step to secure mining permits for the phosphate project. We believe the upgrading and granting of the permits should advance the project to a stage where we can secure funding for construction of our project with the aid of regional and international development finance institutions."
