According to a statement from Sable Resources Ltd, the Don Julio Project in San Juan, Argentina is now open for field investigation for the 2023–2024 exploration season. Under the terms of the 2021 Earn-In Agreement between the Company and South32, all exploration expenses at Don Julio are completely funded.

Work during the 2023–2024 exploration season will concentrate on target generation near the western edge of Minsud Resources Corp.’s mineral claims, near the eastern boundaries of the Don Julio land package. This is the area where South32 and Minsud recently found the Chinchillones breccia–porphyry prospect. Target generation activities along the Chita Valley extension within the Don Julio holdings will involve mapping, geochemistry, and an IP survey.
Targets generated in this field season will be added to the list of known porphyry targets within the Don Julio project and ranked to define drill priorities for the next drilling campaign. This field season will complete the target generation work initiated by Sable in 2018 that has proven the presence of Cu-Au porphyry centers along a newly recognized NNW lineament of Miocene porphyry systems located along the Chita Valley.

About the Don Julio Project
The 69,350-hectare Don Julio project is located near San Juan, Argentina’s Cordillera Frontal. It comprises the regional properties, which include the Los Pumas project, as well as a large area of uncharted territory, and the Don Julio cluster, which has multiple targets of porphyry (La Gringa, Poposa, Amarillo, Punta Cana, Tocota); intermediate sulfidation (Lodo, San Gabriel, Colorado); and skarn (Fermin).
Sable has been carrying out methodical surface work since 2018. This work has included mapping, induced polarization, GroundMag, UAV-Mag, rock sampling, and talus sampling. Drilling campaigns by Sable included 3,101 m in 11 holes for the first campaign in 2018–2019, 4,294 m in 9 holes for the second campaign in 2021–2022, and 5,445 m in 13 holes for the third campaign in 2022–2023. Sable and South32 inked an Earn-In agreement in 2021 to work together to investigate the Don Julio project.
