Diablo Resources Set to Commence Maiden Diamond Drilling at Utah Critical Minerals Project, Targets Defined at North Star Prospect

Diablo Resources Limited is set to commence the first-ever drill testing of the high-priority North Star Prospect at its Star Range Project in southwestern Utah after receiving final drill permit documentation, clearing the way for mobilization and drilling to begin in the coming weeks.

The maiden diamond drilling program will target multiple high-priority silver-antimony-copper-gold targets defined through the integration of geological mapping, high-grade surface geochemistry and induced polarization (IP) geophysical surveys. The initial campaign will comprise approximately 1,000 meters across five diamond drill holes, with approvals already in place for up to 27 holes from 12 drill pads, providing flexibility to rapidly expand drilling should results warrant.

The North Star Prospect has never previously been drill tested despite returning exceptional surface rock-chip results of up to 3,043 grams per ton silver and up to 0.7% antimony. The drilling program is designed to evaluate the scale, continuity and geometry of the mineralized breccia-vein system at depth, while testing coincident structural, geochemical and geophysical targets.

Ground works are already underway ahead of mobilization, with drilling expected to commence in the coming weeks.

Lyle Thorne, Diablo Resources’ CEO, commented: “Receiving final drill approval marks a major milestone for Diablo and allows us to commence the first ever drill testing at our exciting Star Range Critical Minerals Project. This program will provide the first opportunity to test the geological model we have built through the integration of high-grade surface geochemistry, geological mapping and geophysical datasets.

Importantly, with drilling to commence at Star Range and the acquisition of the Horn Silver Project, progressing towards completion, Diablo is rapidly building a portfolio of highly prospective silver, antimony and copper projects in one of the United States’ premier critical minerals districts.

Together, these projects provide near-term drilling and exploration catalysts and position the Company to play a meaningful role in supporting the United States’ strategy to strengthen domestic supply of silver, antimony and copper.

We look forward to keeping shareholders updated as drilling and exploration advances across both projects.”

In parallel with preparations for drilling at North Star, Diablo has completed regional geochemical sampling across the South Star and East Star prospects to expand its pipeline of drill-ready targets across the broader Star Range Project. Assay results from both programs are pending and are expected to support further target generation and drill prioritization.

The Star Range Project is located approximately six kilometers west of Milford in Beaver County, Utah, within a historically productive polymetallic mining district. The project complements Diablo’s proposed acquisition of an 80% interest in the nearby Horn Silver Project, with shareholder approval for the acquisition received on 29 June 2026 and completion now able to proceed under the binding agreement.

The Company expects a strong pipeline of exploration news over coming months, including commencement of drilling at North Star, assay results from recent geochemical programs, completion of the Horn Silver Project acquisition and continued target generation across both projects.
