Argex Mining Engages GENIVAR to Finish Environmental Assessment of La Blache Property

Argex Mining Inc. (TSX-V: RGX) (FSE: ASV) (OTCBB: ARGEF) has engaged GENIVAR Inc. (TSX: GNV) (GENIVAR),one of the largest engineering firms in Canada, to complete an environmental assessment for the proposed mining site to be located on the La Blache property.

The environmental assessment to be prepared by GENIVAR will comprisean important part of Argex's La Blache property scoping study which is to be compliant with National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

The environmental assessment will provide Argex with a baseline environmental survey for its La Blache property, a feasibility study on the extension of the forest road to the mine site to reduce both travel time and the possibility of accidents, and a mineral transport corridor feasibility study to identify possible paths for either a pipeline or a railroad.

GENIVAR is proposing to work with people in the Pessamit community during the field activities.

Argex's objective is to develop a world class titanium mining operation with a hydrometallurgical processing facility treating upwards of three million tonnes per year of ore (3Mtpa); producing high-grade titanium dioxide, iron oxide and vanadium products. The chemical purity of all products is expected to be excellent.

"GENIVAR's team dynamism and wealth of site specific knowledge is a real catalyst for us on this project," said Michael Dehn, Argex's President and Chief Excutive Officer.
