AndeanGold Enters Agreement with Explomin Del Peru for Urumalqui Project

AndeanGold has signed an agreement with the Lima-based, Explomin Del Peru to drill at its Urumalqui Gold-Silver exploration project in Peru.

Explomin has been mobilizing the diamond core drill rig and it expects to begin drilling at the Urumalqui project very soon.

The company will perform the Phase I in-fill drill program at 200 meters depth down the length of the central and southeastern segments in Urumalqui Vein. The vein covers 1.0 kilometre of the 1.5 kilometre Urumalqui Vein outcrop where historical drilling of the project is concentrated in majority. A minimum of 3,000 metres of diamond core will be included in this infill drilling program. The aim of this program is to reach an overall drill hole, which is spaced around 50 metres over the 1.0 kilometre vein strike, at 200 metres depth. The density of the drilling level should return encouraging results for the NI 43-101 resource estimates. The plan of AndeanGold is to commission the estimate when the drilling program is completed.
