Midland Minerals Reports Drilling Results from Kaniago West Zone

Midlands Minerals has announced the Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling results from the Kaniago West Zone. This zone is one of the three zones that are targeted for drilling at Kaniago.

The company began drilling on 28th March, 2011 at the West Zone of Kaniago and has completed ten drill holes totaling 150 metres depth on 17th April, 2011. Now, the company is drilling the Mmooho Zone, which is present in the northeast strike. The Kaniago West and Mmooho Zones are located together along the Abore-Keegan Gold Trend.

Midlands has drilled its first hole, KNRC-001A at the Kaniago property and is situated on the northernmost border of the 400-metre extensive gold soil anomaly. This hole is Midlands’ recent discovery and is the first of the ten reverse circulation (RC) holes drilled at Kaniago West target area. The company has received good gold results from this first hole drilled at the northern boundary. The remaining results from nine holes drilled at Kaniago West are pending.
