Antioquia Gold is focused on searching out mineral and resource opportunities in Latin America, and in particular Colombia. Antioquia Gold, Inc. was formed through the amalgamation of AM-VES Resources, Inc (a private resource company held by ten mining professionals) with High American Gold, Inc. (a public junior mining company de-listed in 2003). Exploration is underway at Cisneros, the company's initial project, which is located geologically on the Antioquia Batholith near the town of Cisneros in the Department of Antioquia.
