CC JV Awarded FEED Contract for Mozambique Onshore LNG Project

CB&I announced today that CC JV, a joint venture comprising of CB&I and Chiyoda Corporation, has been awarded a contract for the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) for the onshore natural gas liquefaction facility project in an LNG park in the Cabo Delgado Province of northern area of the Republic of Mozambique by Anadarko Moçambique Area 1 Limitada.

Chevron Canadian Subsidiary to Acquire Interest in Kitimat LNG Project

Chevron Corporation today announced that its indirect Canadian subsidiary, Chevron Canada Limited, will acquire a 50 percent operating interest in the Kitimat liquefied natural gas (LNG) project and proposed Pacific Trail Pipeline (PTP), and a 50 percent interest in approximately 644,000 acres of petroleum and natural gas rights in the Horn River and Liard Basins in British Columbia, Canada.

Iron Creek Presents Exploration Update on Victoria Joint Venture Project

Iron Creek Capital Corp. ("Iron Creek") is pleased to provide an exploration update on recent work completed by Hochschild Mining Holdings Limited (HOC.L: "Hochschild"), the operators of the Victoria Joint Venture project. As a result of a recent cash call by the operators to Iron Creek, Iron Creek has declined the opportunity to contribute, and consequently will be diluted from its previously held 40% interest in the project, to 33.88%.

Atlas Copco Agrees to Acquire MEYCO Business to Expand Underground Operations

Atlas Copco (Schweiz) AG has agreed to acquire the Switzerland-based MEYCO Equipment business from BASF Construction Chemicals Europe AG. The acquisition broadens Atlas Copco’s offering with mobile equipment for applying sprayed concrete (shotcreting) in underground operations.
