Capella Resources Closes Non-Brokered Private Placement

CAPELLA RESOURCES LTD. (TSX VENTURE:KPS)(PINK SHEETS:CPSJF) ("Capella" or the "Company") wishes to announce that it has closed its non-brokered private placement announced on September 16, 2010.
The first tranche of 10,000,000 flow-through shares ("FT Shares") at a price of $0.09 per FT Share closed on September 23, 2010. The FT Shares are subject to a 4 month hold period expiring on January 24, 2011.

Breakwater Employees Strike as Labour Negotiations Fail

Breakwater Resources Ltd. (TSX:BWR)(TSX:BWR.WT.A) Employees at Breakwater's Toqui mine in southern Chile commenced a strike at the beginning of the day shift today after labour negotiations broke off late yesterday. Agreement could not be reached on several issues. At this time no estimates can be provided as to the effect, if any, this will have on production.

Fortescue Metals Settles Shipping Dispute

A terminated shipping contract has cost Fortescue Metals Group US$ 3.7 million. The iron ore miner had cancelled a five year shipping contract with Armada in January 2009. The Singapore based Armada then brought arbitration proceedings against Fortescue seeking alleged damages worth US$70 million.
