Khalkos Obtains Significant Recovery Rate of Gold at Zone Cere of Villebon Property

Exploration Khalkos. ("Khalkos") Management of Khalkos is pleased to announce the results of the bulk sampling undertaken on the zone Cere of the Villebon property. By gravimetric processing only, a recovery rate of gold of 82.5% was obtained. Sixty four grams of gold grading 83% Au, which is more than 2 ounces, were produced from the processing of the 13 tons with a calculated head grade of 4.89g Au/t.

It is worth mentioning that in most gold deposits in the Abitibi, the gravimetric recovery of gold rarely exceeds 60%. In addition, testing at URSTM (Unit of Research and Service in Mineral Technology) in Rouyn-Noranda on representative samples of the 13-ton bulk, combining gravity and cyanidation, gave an aggregated recovery rate of 97.9 %. All of these tests demonstrate excellent metallurgical quality of the gold mineralization present on the property Villebon which mostly can be treated easily and simply by gravimetry.

Khalkos also recently completed four short diamond drill holes totaling 262 meters and verifying the lateral extension of just over 50 meters to the NE of the Cere zone. All holes intersected an altered shear zone with associated blue quartz veins grading from 0.11 g/t Au over 0.5 m. and 0.53 g/t Au over 3.4 m.

Recall that the first two drill holes (VB-14-07 and 08) on this shear intersected 17.1 g/t Au over 7.8 m. ; 17.5 g/t Au over 0.5 m. and 1.02 g/t Au over 6.1 m. (press release dated July 9, 2014). Only six short drill holes, totaling 365 m., have been undertaken so far on Cere zone. Untested geophysical anomalies are situated in the extension of this gold-bearing structure discovered by the team of Khalkos.

The results of the metallurgical report from Cere zone were prepared and validated by URSTM under the supervision of Jean Lelièvre. M.Sc. Eng. This press release was prepared by Robert Gagnon, Geologist, President of Khalkos, Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
