Ginguro Exploration Inc. ("Ginguro" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2015 winter drill program on the Pardo Joint Venture ("Pardo JV") property, which is located approximately 65 km northeast of Sudbury, Ontario.
The drill and equipment are on site and the first drill locations have been prepared, such that drilling is anticipated to start immediately. Ginguro is expected to complete approximately 30 holes in the extensive gold paleo-placer layers uncovered at surface during the 2013/2014 field seasons.
"Due to the near-surface location of the mineralized conglomerate, I look forward to seeing core from several holes each day during this program," stated Ginguro President and CEO, Richard Murphy. "The areas we are drilling have tremendous potential to deliver important results for this project and help us advance the project to the next level."
Assay results from the diamond drilling are expected to start being returned to the Company in the coming weeks. Results will be published as they come available.
Other work ongoing during this Winter/Spring exploration program includes a desktop mining study and detailed geological analysis of drill core, which will be incorporated into the first 3-D geological model for the Pardo Project.
Recently completed metallurgical test work has returned 81.9% and 74.6% cyanide leach recovery over 14 days using bottle roll tests from -10 mesh samples. Leach recoveries are lower for the coarser crushed material. These results support the earlier test work which indicated excellent gravity plus cyanide recoveries with finer grind sizes.
Ginguro is the operator of the joint venture and holds a 64.5% ownership interest and Endurance Gold Corporation owns a 35.5% ownership interest.
The Company also announces that it has launched a redesigned website, which can be viewed at www.ginguro.com. The new site contains revised contents, improved navigation and optimization for viewing on tablets and smartphones.
