First Gold Exploration Receives Significant Lithium Grading from Pivert Rose Project

First Gold Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EFG)(FRANKFURT:F12)(OTCQX:FGEXF) has reported the results for grab samples taken from three new zones discovered to the south of the Pivert showing.

The three new pegmatite dikes containing significant quantities of spodumene have returned significant lithium, grading 3.01% Li2O, 2.14% Li2O and 1.44% Li2O. The three pegmatite dikes are located approximately one kilometre south-southeast of the Pivert showing. The Helico showing has been traced over approximately 120 metres, the Pivert South showing over approximately 30 metres and the Pivert East zone over about 25 metres. The results are significant as they demonstrate the strong potential for the discovery of new mineralized zones, and establish new drill targets that could add substantially to the resource on the Pivert Rose project.

A crew is presently on the property carrying out channel sampling on the three showings.

Grab sample location and results:

In Addition, the drilling performed to date on Hydro and JR showing, never drilled before, have returned numerous mineralized intersections with spodumene, up to 12 meters along the drill core.

The Company wishes to announce that, given all these positive results, drilling on its Pivert/Rose project will continue throughout 2010 and 2011. A program of at least 15,000 metres of drilling is planned to increase the size of the Rose showing and outline new resources on the other property showings (Hydro, JR, Pivert, Pivert East, Pivert South and Helico).

Jean-Sebastien Lavallee (OGQ #773), geologist, shareholder and president and chief executive officer by interim of the Company and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release.
