Globex Starts Stripping at its Francoeur/Arntfield Gold Mines Property

Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. takes pleasure in informing shareowners that after significant surveying, mapping, and compilation effort, it has started to strip a number of areas in its Francoeur/Arntfield Gold Mines property.

Specifically, a region adjacent to the formerly stripped and channel sampled 450 Gold Zone will be cleared, stripped, and pressure washed. This operation will cover outcrop exposure where earlier channel sampling yielded 7.04 g/t Au over 9.50 m. Also, a region south of the Francoeur #8 Gold Zone will be stripped and pressure washed.

Globex’s grab sampling in this region yielded assays like 13.06 g/t Au, 25.41 g/t Au, 5.93 g/t Au, 11.45 g/t Au, and 2.67 g/t Au (Note: Grab samples are selective naturally and are not likely to be typical of average grade). After the exposed outcrops are stripped and washed, Globex aims to carry out channel sampling of the new exposures.

In tandem with the striping, washing, and channel sampling program, Globex has also launched a drill program.

Following are the targets of this program: to confirm and analyze the up-dip projection of a broad gold zone reported in a historical drill hole, to analyze the potential down-dip of the 450 Gold Zone at a shallow depth, and to analyze two regions where strong induced polarization anomalies were outlined in an earlier work along what is regarded to be the western extension of the South Shear and a region between the #1 and #2 Arntfield Mine shafts where historical trenching indicates the presence of two gold horizons instead of one.

The table below shows historical trench assays.

Historical Trenches - Gold Assays
10.61 g/t Au over 1.52 m and 6.53 g/t Au over 1.52 m
6.86 g/t Au over 3.76 m
6.63 g/t Au over 5.49 m
9.60 g/t Au over 3.05 m
7.20 g/t Au over 2.13 m
8.40 g/t Au over 10.36 m
14.93 g/t Au over 0.71 m
15.97 g/t Au over 2.13 m
8.86 g/t Au over 2.44 m
