Deep-South Announces Soil Sampling Program on the Luanshya West Project in Zambia

Deep-South Resources Inc, a mineral exploration and development company declares that it has the entire assay outcomes from the soil sampling program on the Luanshya West project in Zambia.

These results are exciting as they enabled the delineation of several large copper and cobalt anomalies. These results compare favorably to current and past mines on the Copperbelt which have held thresholds in the range of 50 ppm to 150 ppm, averaging 80 ppm copper and peak values in the range of 100 ppm to 450 ppm copper. We are currently planning further work on the project.

Highlights

• Around 10 copper soil anomalies were specified with peak a value of 634 ppm copper and 13 cobalt soil anomalies have been specified with a peak value of 558 ppm cobalt in leached soil regimes.
• The five highest soil samples assay outcomes for cobalt were identified to be: 558 ppm, 282 ppm, 179 ppm and 174 ppm, and 159 ppm.
• The five highest soil samples assay outcomes for copper were identified to be: 634 ppm, 602 ppm, 506 ppm, 568 ppm, and 446 ppm.
• Comes with 794 samples gathered on a primary grid of 500 m × 100 m.
• Around 1,193 samples were collected on 3 infill grids of 100 m × 100 m.

The Luanshya West exploration license 23246-HQ-LEL is situated in the core of the Zambian Copperbelt some 29 km west of the Luanshya Copper Cobalt mine. The license area spans 5,423.26 hectares (54.24 Km²).
