  • The Georgia Lake Lithium Project is situated in the Thunder Bay Lithium District, which is 2 km east of Rock Tech Lithium Inc.’s advanced lithium project.
  • The just completed work program of the Company led to the discovery of an earlier unmapped intrusive body and feldspar porphyry witnessed at the southeast corner of the property.
  • The importance of the recently observed features is that they exhibit the capacity of the property to host earlier unmapped intrusives—along with pegmatites.

Recently, the exploration team of Victory has finished its summer work program on its Georgia Lake Lithium property and has found a feldspar porphyry, an earlier unmapped intrusive unit, and granitic rock trending towards the property.

The importance of the newly observed discoveries is that they exhibit the capacity of the property to host earlier unmapped intrusives (along with pegmatites). There is one belt of intrusives, which strikes northeast towards the property from the Rock Tech ground, and two other granitic belts, mapped while approaching the property from the east. From all indications, the recently discovered intrusive body is on trend with the southern of those granitic belts.

A sum of 62 soil and till samples were taken by the exploration team. The majority of the samples taken were usually taken from a depth of 0.5 m along multiple east-west lines along the southern part of the property. Such lines are perpendicular to the dominant ice flow direction and down ice from the inferred intrusive trends. Some deeper till samples and a huge, screened stream sediment were also obtained. This sampling is believed to be an orientation survey toward a more complete till sampling program.

The company will confirm the next stage of development through the pending lab assays from the just-finished work program.
