Discovery Lithium Follow-Up on Vaubert Lake Lithium Target

Due to the positive initial results of its initial late summer sampling and mapping campaign in the northern Quebec region of Nunavik, Discovery Lithium Inc., a Canadian exploration company devoted to promoting domestic energy freedom through regional lithium discovery, has announced that it has chosen to immediately begin a three-day follow-up program on important Vaubert Lake claim targets of interest.

The Discovery field team discovered abnormal data occurrences that were thought to be extremely promising for lithium during phase one of its expanding multi-phase strategic exploration plan. The data presented here is derived from a combination of field data obtained via handheld LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) analysis, thorough cross-referenced mapping, and visual examinations of rock and soil samples.

The company has immediately launched a second phase exploratory sampling program to better investigate the target locations and nearby areas before winter conditions arrive based on these positive initial results. Every new sample from the follow-up program will also be delivered to SGS Laboratories for analysis per the original sampling.

The Vaubert Lake Project’s most promising drill targets will be identified by the company based on the sample findings, mapping, and associated data.

Thanks to the work accomplished by our experienced exploration field team, we were able to mobilize a rapid reaction follow-up program as soon as we understood that the preliminary results are pointing us towards some highly intriguing mineralogy. The team’s efforts have allowed us to efficiently cover the entire Vaubert and Serindac Lake Projects in our quest for the next large lithium discovery in Quebec. To initiate successive exploration efforts less than 6 months post-acquisition, demonstrates our commitment and ability to position Discovery Lithium as a leading resource exploration operation in Quebec.

Property Description

Vaubert Lake, Nunavik, Nord-du-Québec Region

Shawn Ryan, a highly regarded, award-winning prospector and project proponent, has led the way in identifying the mining-friendly Nunavik region through comprehensive soil investigations and has advised the Company on the implementation of best-practice fieldwork programs.

Discovery Lithium’s vast claim holdings are directly on some of the province’s highest lake bottom sediment anomalies. This information is based on the 99th percentile lithium and cesium levels found in the official Quebec government ministry database.

Discovery Lithium hired Ground Truth Exploration to send experienced research teams to the Nunavik holdings for a thorough mapping and sample campaign throughout the summer.

Previously identified as a good location for rare-element pegmatites due to favorable lithological rock types and structural interpretation of regional magnetics that correspond with extremely high lithium, cesium, and rubidium lake sediment samples.

All samples taken over the summer have been sent to SGS Laboratories, with findings expected by the end of November. Based on these findings, the company will create drill targeting and logistics for further campaigns aimed at developing the properties for future appraisal.
