Moab to Acquire Additional Uranium Tenements at Manyoni Project in Tanzania

Moab Minerals Limited has strengthened its position at the Manyoni Uranium Project in Tanzania after securing the transfer of four uranium tenements adjacent to the project area from AuKing Limited.

The tenements have been transferred to Moab’s Tanzanian subsidiary, Katika Resources Limited, and expand the Company’s exploration footprint across a prospective palaeochannel uranium system already mineralized at Manyoni.

The acquisition forms part of Moab’s strategy to consolidate a strategic uranium landholding in central Tanzania and advance exploration across multiple targets associated with the broader palaeo-drainage system. Historical drilling across the tenements has identified several palaeochannels that form part of a northwest-trending system considered prospective for palaeochannel uranium deposits.

Completion of the transaction is subject to Moab shareholder approval for the issue of 62.5 million ordinary shares to AuKing Limited as consideration, which the Company expects to seek during the June quarter.

The Manyoni Uranium Project already hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 27.19 million pounds of uranium at an average grade of 139 ppm U3O8, representing a 25 percent increase announced in September 2025.

Moab Managing Director, Mr Malcolm Day, commented:

“The transfer of the four highly prospective AuKing tenements to our subsidiary company Katika Resources is an important step in consolidating a strategic uranium tenement holding with multiple exploration targets. Moab is planning an active program in 2026, including metallurgical testwork on the Manyoni deposit and step-out drilling in the newly acquired tenements to verify historical drilling results.”

Moab believes the acquisition significantly enhances the potential to define additional uranium resources at Manyoni through a combination of validation drilling and step-out exploration targeting the palaeochannel system identified across the broader project area.

The prospecting licences acquired from AuKing were granted between January and May 2023 and cover a combined area of more than 480 square kilometers in central Tanzania.

Next Steps

Moab plans to advance exploration activities across the expanded project area through a series of technical and field programs, including:

  • Shipment of core samples to Australia for metallurgical testwork
  • Commencement of drilling in the AuKing tenements adjacent to existing Moab tenure
  • Step-out drilling at priority targets at the Manyoni Uranium Project and validation drilling within the new tenements
  • Preparation of a maiden Mineral Resource estimate for the AuKing tenements

The acquisition is being completed under an Asset Sale and Purchase Agreement executed in October 2024 between AuKing Mining Limited, Moab Minerals, 92U Tanzania Ltd and Katika Resources Ltd.
