Lithium Exploration Group Buys Lithium-Rich Property in Alberta

Lithium Exploration Group has procured  100% of the mineral rights to 113,000 acres of lithium-rich area in Western Alberta, Canada.

This property is situated  near Valleyview, approximately 100 miles northwest of Edmonton and in an area rich in oil and gas deposits, which has been discovered and taken out a century ago. Alberta Geological Survey (AGS) is widely analyzing the minerals in the recovered water from aquifers, due to drilling activities by oil and gas firms.

The aquifers in the nearby region have been tested for different minerals ever since 1970 and high-grades of lithium brines have been identified. Normally, there will be little amount of lithium in all groundwater, but the lithium grades are high in the Swan Hills Region of Alberta, which are feasible for production.

The property of Lithium Exploration Group includes the Northern Leduc Formation Reef which is a part of the aquifer. AGS has conducted tests on the property, which has several wells and unveiled the presence of cost-effective lithium levels. Also, the property comprises over 200 active and inactive wells containing aquifers and there is a chance for additional exploration. Lithium Exploration Group has above 30 years of exploration experience and has now purchased this lithium property.
