Pilot Gold Reports Ongoing Drilling Results from Halilaga Porphyry Project

Pilot Gold has announced the ongoing drilling results from the Halilaga porphyry project in northwest Turkey. The company has cut 0.22% copper and 0.34 g/t gold over 466.7 metres.

This recent drilling results are a part of the 2011 four-rig, Phase 1, 10,000 metre exploration program planned to infill the Kestane’s central zone and examine major magnetic anomalies at the rest of the property .

The company has intersected 0.68 g/t gold and 0.37% copper over 90.4 metres in HD-76, 0.87 g/t gold and 0.88% copper over 34.5 metres in HRC-68, 0.39 g/t gold and 1.58% copper over 14.9 in HD-60 at Kestane’s central zone.

Additionally, it has also drilled 0.24 g/t gold, 0.25% copper and 0.05% molybdenum over 49.40 metres in HD-61, 0.26 g/t gold, 0.37% copper and 0.03% molybdenum over 40.0 metres in HD-60 at west, north and south of Kestane.

Recently, Pilot Gold has identified the Halilaga copper-gold porphyry deposit and so far, it has encountered mineralization over 1,200 metres strike length, 750 metres breadth and up to 600 metres widths at Halilaga. Also, the property is provided with supergene enrichment zone, which is close up to 40 metres width at 1%-to-2% Cu grades.

Since 2004,the technical group of Pilot Gold had taken a major role in setting the gold endowment and potentiality of the Biga region in northwest Turkey and was contributing to the Halilaga porphyry discovery.
