ABM Resources Updates on Drilling at Twin Bonanza Gold Camp Project
ABM Resources has updated on drilling at the Twin Bonanza gold camp project that contains widespread drilling at its 1.67 million ounce Buccaneer porphyry gold deposit.
The company has drilled the initial 10 deep reverse circulation (RC) holes targeting the Buccaneer Western Zone extensions. The rate of drilling per day is more than 250 metres. The diamond core rig will reach the work place soon. Sampling and Mapping of the minor target areas has revealed additional surface vein systems at Twin Bonanza.
The company has commenced with an admirable beginning and is already ahead of schedule. It intercepts quartz veins, rock-types, arsenic and alteration anomalism. It has intersected 2.03 g/t gold over 81 metres including 8.22 g/t gold over 12 metres. ABM will drill 40,000 to 60,000 metres at the present drilling rates of 2011.
Twin Bonanza has an area of 40km x 40km and so far more than 30 targets have been discovered. The Buccaneer deposit and the new high-grade Western Zone offer the primary drilling results for 2011. ABM has engaged Top Drill of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia for the whole year for the proposed deep RC drilling. A diamond core drill rig from Boart Longyear is planned to reach the property in mid May.
Now, ABM geologists are mapping numerous regions on the Twin Bonanza project and have discovered two new targets with quartz veins at the surface.
