Trans Energy, an oil and gas exploration and development group located in the Appalachian Basin, has reported the production results of initial 30 days from its Keaton #1H horizontal Marcellus well, which is located in Marshall County, West Virginia.
The average production of the well was 5,674 Mcfe per day and the 30th day production rate was 5,074 Mcfe on a 20.5/64 choke.
Also, the company has finished 12 phase hydraulic fracture stimulation on the Lucey #1H horizontal Marcellus well, which is situated in Marshall County, West Virginia. It is waiting for a pipeline connection. Lucey #1H is expected to become a sales line around June 30.
The company is continuing to expand the acreage spot in the Marcellus shale well. This drilling program has given initial success and 30 day positive production results to the company. Trans Energy will drill several wells for future production.
