Argentex Mining Reports Additional Drilling Results from Pinguino Project

Argentex Mining has announced the current exploration program results from its Pinguino Project in Argentina.

So far, the company has finished drilling of around 19,000 m, totaling 203 holes in 2011. Initially discovered gold and silver targets at Marta Este and Tranquilo in 2010, when subjected to testing have given fine results of silver over huge intervals. These latest drilling results will expand the original discovery region and extend the prospective of high-grade zone in the Tranquilo mineralized vein system.

Ken Hicks, Argentex’s President, has commented that uniform drilling produces encouraging silver results from the project as it  prepares to deliver a recently  updated mineral resource. The size, strength and persistence of the Tranquilo vein system in the area are notable. The company has intersected more than 2,400 g/t high-grade silver over 6.0 m in this structure during drill testing, which was initially explored in late 2010. This zone is extending to depth and along the strike.
