Geo Minerals Announces Field Exploration at West Blackwater Property

Geo Minerals has engaged UTM Exploration Services of BC to begin the exploration work at its claims next to the Blackwater deposit of Newgold.

The company will move the crew and camp in or around June 2011and it will execute the primary exploration work on the West Blackwater deposit, including the in-fill soil sampling, selected prospecting, detailed geological mapping and an IP geophysical survey to outline the anomalous zones, which was discovered during the 2010 drilling campaign. The company will subsequently commence a 5,000 m drilling program following the preliminary works of the exploration program and targets the significant regions that were discovered in the 2010 and 2011 exploration seasons.

The location of the claim block is 2.5 km west-northwest of the latest drilling performed by Richfield Ventures and around 100 km south of Vanderhoof in B.C. In September, Richfield has cut 1.4 g/t gold over 281.8 m in drill hole BW-71.
