Uranium North Resources Announces Drilling at Amer Lake Property
Uranium North Resource is mobilizing the drill rigs to the Amer Lake uranium project in Nunavut for the 2011 drilling program.
This drilling program will make an effort to raise the 19.3 million pound uranium resource. The company is anticipating to commence drilling during the second week of June.
Northspan Explorations will perform the planned reverse circulation drilling for at least 2500 m on the Main Zone’s southeast expansion, which is a arkosic sandstone unit containing uranium. The geophysics and geology of the main zone points out to its expansion to the southeast.
Mark Kolebaba, CEO and President of the company, has stated that Uranium North is extending the uranium resource economically. The objective of the company is to take part in the exploration of uranium while developing the gold and silver projects.
Uranium North has entered into an agreement with Geovector Management to supervise the field operation and to complete updating an independent NI 43-101 resource estimate and the supplementary report.
