Passport Potash has released the initial results from two core holes, which are intersected at shallow depths of the major potash deposits in the Holbrook evaporite basin.
Skyline Laboratories in Arizona has released the chemical assay results. According to the results, the company has intersected 12.29% KCL over 9.5 ft including 18.28% KCL over 4.0 ft in the hole PPI2011-04 and 24.34% KCL over 2.5 ft and 11.93% KCL over 7.5 ft in the hole PPI2011-6.
The CEO and President of the company stated that Passport Potash has received encouraging drilling results. These results are steady and the deposit is based on the widespread historic information from this basin area, which is analogous to the potash deposits that the company has presently mined in Carlsbad in New Mexico. The NI 43-101 reports will outline the nature and level of the resource in due course. The company will unveil the report of the primary resource and additional drilling results at the earliest.
