Skeena Resources has reported assay results of four further holes from its ongoing 5,000 m diamond drilling at the Tropico Project in Mexico.
The company has drilled the planned 22 hole phase I drilling program at the layered mafic-ultramafic complex and has received the assay results of 15 holes out of the 19, totaling around 4,242 m.
The company has drilled and intersected around 2 g/t of silver in average and 0.17 to 0.5 % copper from 0.2 g/t to 0.6 g/t PGM (platinum + palladium + gold) in Maricela–San Pablo zone’s central part, combined with barren gabbro, up to four parallel that is dipping in vertical, and is 16 m to greater than 100 m wide mineralized pyroxenite horizons. The two pyroxenite bands located on the northern side seems to contain good continuity for a strike length of at least 2.5 km. The two horizons at the southern part are examined at this phase but are inferred to have the continuity of mineralization over a strike length of 1.5 km.
Skeena will conduct further drilling to examine the depth of one of the previous drill fences at the central part of the Maricela Zone and the lateral continuity at Maricela zone’s western end. The company will release the results of the additional drill holes in batches.
