Currie Rose Resources has completed the initial three holes of a 10,000 m drill program, which is scheduled for this summer for its two main projects in the Lake Victoria Greenstone belt, Tanzania.
The company drilled reverse circulation (RC) holes for depths of 110, 130 and 150 m at Sisu River, which is one of the three properties, on which Currie Rose will focus on the Mabale Hills project. It has sent 506 samples in total to a lab that is in close proximity for the assay. Currie Rose drills further holes at the Sisu River prior to the moving of the RC rigs 6 km to the southwest to examine the latest targets at Mwamazengo west, a discovery area, which was reported formerly. It will also drill the Dhahabu property.
In the meantime, the field work is continued at the flagship Sekenke Project, which is around 200 km southeast of Mabale Hills. Appraisal of several high priority targets are being performed over the 300 km2 land package, which envelops and operates between two historic mines.
