Teras Resources has received the assay results of five recent holes from the 14 hole diamond drilling campaign at the Cahuilla gold-silver project in California. This project is a huge paleo-hot springs, epithermal system that contain several high-grave vein layers, which occur in a wide distributed gold-silver mineralized body.
This core campaign includes 479 m, totaling 14 diamond drill holes. The objective of this drill program is to examine the down dip, near surface expansions and surface measurements of the sheeted quartz vein layers outcropping at the High Grade Hill. The company has drilled a series of shallow holes fences for analyzing the veins and mineralized gold-silver continuity. Presently, the Nevada-based Inspectorate Laboratory in Reno is assaying the core from the remaining holes. The project geologist, Mr. Paul Stubble gathered the samples and the samples were split in half for assaying and sampling. Then the split core was kept in sample bags and sent for processing to the Inspectorate laboratory.
The High Grade Hill results will find the company’s focus on wide reverse circulation (RC) drilling program that is expected to commence soon this year. The main goal of the future drilling will be to discover several high-grade veins, which have been cut through the project and focus on the extension of distributed mineralization outlined by significant drilling.
